I recommend starting out with a short close to home trip. 

   South Mountain, NC

Review Overall: Great first place but no electricity (so no charging) or phone service so plan to stop at a charging station before you arrive to "fill up." Despite this, there was nothing better than being forced to disconnect from technology for a night and listening to a babbling brook while relaxing with a book. 

Sites: Close together, so for          tesping alone, it seems like a

safer choice.                         

Restrooms: There is only one and it's central to all the sites

Activities: Other fun here is           fishing on the stream that runs behind several of the campsite, hiking, and          

MSC: very friendly rangers,            interesting displays at the check-in station,
